The Hotel del Golf, one of the most emblematic hotels in the Castellon province due to its history, architecture and location, is now called the Hotel del Golf Playa; this change is due to the new management the hotel acquired at the beginning of 2011. The hotel is again in the hands of the owning company, which stands by a new image and modernisation of both facilities and services for our clients. This is just one more step in the company's clear will to offer our guests the best quality and the best service for their stay.

The Hotel del Golf Playa, the city's only beach hotel, is located in the Grao de Castellon, 100 metres from one of the best beaches in Castellon, the privileged El Pinar beach, with fine sand, gentle slopes, accessible and equipped with all sorts of services (sports, rescue, showers, children's facilities, etc.), awarded with the European Union's blue flag for its quality and environmental respect. This Castellon beach is integrated into the Coastal Park, which offers an idyllic natural and ocean landscape, very representative of the Costa del Azahar.

Hardly 2 km away, bordering the golf club and El Pinar park, we find the fishing port area, where we can enjoy all sorts of shops, business, cinemas, restaurants, the Gran Casino de Castellon and lively night life, in addition to the Castellon planetarium, with several activities. And only 5 km away, we find ourselves in the centre of Castellon de la Plana, where we have all city services. In the opposite direction, about 7 km away, following the maritime promenade and magnificent beaches, we find the Benicasim tourist municipality, where we can visit everything from the Desierto de las Palmas natural park to its fun aquatic park.

Near Hotel del Golf Playa, there are several sports facilities, such as a golf course, minigolf, tennis courts, paddle courts, jogging tracks, football fields, beach volleyball, a flying club with sky diving and a pilot school, a clay pigeon, pigeon, aiming and bow-and-arrow shooting club, and an extensive bike lane... It is an ideal hotel to spend family vacation with children, besides being able to practise several nautical sports, both on the beach or at the nearby yatch club.
